In October 2011 in Mexico City, after a couple of rather vague and unsuccessful experiences on the development of video games; we decided to start "Tochas Studios" with the mission to generate video games that provide an inspiring, exciting, full of learning, sincere experience and become able to arouse all kinds of questions. Our vision is to consolidate as one of the most important independent game studios in Latin America and serve as a platform for growth in the gaming industry, especially in Mexico City.
In late 2011 we strated the development of Sodacity Madness, an arcade style beat/shoot-e'm up, it was released on iOS in april 2012.Sodacity
After learning the ins and out of self publishing in the mobile space, we decided to expand the Sodacity Madness theme further, we started development of Sodacity on november 2012. Sodacity scope is bigger than the arcade style of its predecessor, with a variety of enemies, weapons, levels and bosses.
